Lion LeeAnn Haisch

District Governor LeeAnn Haisch, was born in Dimock, SD and graduated from Parkston High School.  She attended USD and graduated in 1986 with a teaching degree.
She taught two years in Harrold, SD and one year near Sheboygan, WI.  

She and her husband and family moved to an acreage near Alcester, SD in 1989.  For 14 years she continued her educational career in the Alcester-Hudson School District as an English teacher and cross country/track coach.  

In 2000, LeeAnn completed her MA in Educational Administration and for the next 17 years as the junior high/high school principal and coach. She retired from education in 2020 to be a full-time grandma.  

LeeAnn is active in the local ADK Sorority, Catholic Daughters, and teaches religious education.  She and her husband have four children and 16 grandchildren so far. 

LeeAnn joined the Alcester Lions Club in 2010. She served two terms as President of the club and is chairperson of their annual pancake fundraiser.  She has also served as District 5SE Zone 8 Chairperson for several years.
